Steel Cut Oats with Maple Syrup & Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil

Nothing says “comfort” any better than a steaming bowl of oatmeal for breakfast on a brisk Fall morning.

Our favorite version around here is Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Steel Cut Oats.

That’s a mouthful….no pun intended.

Steel Cut Oats take a little patience. They’re certainly not instant and they’re not quick. It takes about 20 minutes to cook a pot of Steel Cut Oats, but they’re worth the wait.

We like our Steel Cut Oats sweetened with Pure Grade B Maple Syrup, and enriched with a dollop of pasture butter and a few drops of Spark Naturals Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil.

I have a Subscribe and Save order set up at Amazon so I never run out of Maple Syrup, this is what I get, a half gallon every two months.
